Sodium-ion All-solid-state Batteries
Sodium solid-state batteries are highly advantageous for large-scale applications, primarily due to their use of cheaper and more abundant raw materials, which ensures both sustainability and a low cost per kWh. Our research group is dedicated to designing sodium solid electrolytes that exhibit high ionic conductivity and stable interfacial properties. Additionally, we investigate the underlying degradation mechanisms with the goal of improving electrochemical performance, enabling stable long-term cycling, and ultimately enhancing the overall practicality and efficiency of sodium solid-state batteries.
